Greetings from Texas! The last 6 months or so have been consumed with getting settled into our new home in Plano, Texas (along with work and other have-to-do’s of course!). I am surprised to tell you that I’m loving Texas. I love our home, which is walking distance of a historic downtown bustling with businesses and restaurants. I love that my sister just moved here (HURRAY!!!) and I love the weather! Of course, it is still taking time to make friends and feel comfortable here, but I would say that I am well on my way.
One of the constants during this move has been my work. It’s been such a blessing to be able to keep doing work I love during this transition. No job searching or awkward first days at a new job…I just get to continue helping co-ops grow and raise money. Which is what I LOVE to do!
