I was honored to help train the AWESOME capital campaign volunteers at the Oshkosh Food Co-op this fall. We crammed lots of training into four jam-packed days and these volunteers have hit the ground running! Training your campaign team is critical to your success. Capital campaigns are often complex, involving loans, donations or other options can be challenging both for volunteers and owners to grasp. Educating your volunteer team and preparing them to talk about the campaign with fellow owners can make all the difference.
