How many volunteer callers do I need? I get asked this question quite frequently and the answer is A LOT. The Capital Campaign Workbook (which if you haven’t read it yet, what are waiting for?) indicates you need 3-8 callers. In my experience, upwards of 12-15 is more realistic and lightens the load for everyone.
You want to recruit volunteer callers who enjoy talking on the phone, are passionate about the co-op and can commit 5+ hours a week to making phone calls during the course of your campaign. Writing a volunteer job description can help you find the right volunteers for the role.
