As I work with Southside Food Co-op in Chicago to develop a strategic plan I have been inspired to learn more about the connections between Kwanzaa and the Cooperative Principles. It’s invigorating and exciting to learn more about this African-American celebration and how it so closely relates to the cooperative movement. I am by no means anything close to an expert on this topic, I’m simply learning and growing with each new client/co-op I work with.
