The Up & Coming Food Co-op Conference was the VERY first event I attended after being hired by Green Top Grocery in 2013. In fact, I hadn’t even started working yet and really had no idea what I was getting into…but I am so glad I attended that conference. It served as a foundation for my education in all things cooperative and gave me a connection to people doing this kind of work. In a world where we sometimes feel like we are on an island having a connection to others who share my passion is a true gift!
I hope you will make time in your schedule to attend this event. It’s in a new location (hello! I LOVE Madison!) with a new host and it will surely be an experience that will energize you, educate you, and connect you to others in the field.
